"I KNEW IT WAS COMIN'" AND MISC. UPDATES

Well, I'd been telling Rowdy that it wouldn't be long until Kade could catch him. (Yes, I talk to the dog!) Today was the day! Kade figured out the crawlin' thing and he went after Rowdy. Kade has his first ear infections...both ears. On top of that, he has a bottom tooth just about to pop thru. I'm ready for a drink!! Or two! He started trying to sing and it is so cute! Hopefully he will have his dad's talent!

Thank goodness Rowdy is patient and loves people! Wonder how long it will be before they start sharing toys?! Ugh!

Footnote: We nearly lost Rowdy again. He is now officially the "million dollar dog"! (Not quite.) This time he came down with tick fever. Now explain to me how my little sheltered, well cared for dog gets a tick disease and all these coon dogs, hounds and pit bulls tied to trees don't! He had to be rushed to Little Rock again and received a plasma transfusion. His blood platelet count was ZERO and he was bleeding internally! He couldn't walk or stand...once again knocking at death's door! The prognosis was "very guarded". He was up to 127,000 when he left the hospital on Monday. We're trying to get the platelet count up to 250,000 but the bleeding stopped and he is doing really well...almost 100%. He is quite a little fighter!

House update...hopefully they will start clearing the property next week if the ground is dry enough.

I need to brag on Cassidy just a bit! She was selected out of 60 in her modeling class to go to New York next spring to meet with modeling agencies. I am so glad she got my long legs and beauty! HA! HA! HA! ALSO...she is being inducted into the National Honor Society tonight! I won't even try to claim the brains! We're so proud of her! Congrats!
